CRICKET
Cricket was our first dachshund! Born on February 18, 2022, this little AKC Miniature Longhaired Chocolate + Tan Piebald stole our hearts the moment her short little legs trotted across our living room. When we brought her home, we knew we were forever changed - we officially became a Weiner dog family!
Cricket is the Momma Bear to our pack; she is constantly pining over the other dachshunds in our home.
She has a quiet, shy personality to those she doesn’t know, but when she gets comfortable, she is a snuggler. She can generally be found in Mom’s lap, laying in the sunshine, or burrowed under a couch blanket. Cricket’s favorite activity is to Go! Go! Go! As soon as she hears keys jangle, she is out the door and headed for the truck! She is a lot of love and a little attitude packed into an 11 pound body. We expect her puppies to carry her beautiful piebald markings.
CHIPMUNK
Chipmunk is Cricket’s half sister, they share a Father, Buckley of Blue Gums dachshunds. Born on April 23, 2022, Chip is an AKC Miniature Longhaired Isabella (Fawn) + Tan Dapple weighing in at a tiny 9 pounds. But don’t let her slender frame fool you; she is a quick little ball of energy! Chipmunk is by far our most athletic dog, while also taking the spot for biggest personality.
As soon as Chip joined our pack, she decided Lance was her favorite human in the world. She is his loyal companion, and can always be found in his shadow. She is also quite vocal - neither barking nor growling, she loves to “talk” to us in the cutest way! Maintaining her athletic build, she has a slightly larger appetite than our other fur babies; this girl loves to snack! We are hoping her babies have the same soulful eyes Chipmunk does. Chipmunks coat is much shorter than a traditional longhaired dachshund. If you love the look a longhaired has, but aren’t quite ready for the grooming requirements, Chip is your girl. We anticipate her easily manageable coat being passed on to her puppies.
